Latest Tweak in Google's Algorithm - Propels Brand Image
It has been noticed recently that Google has relatively made certain changes in its algorithm. This time Google has chosen the brand image of a company to rank it in the SERPs. Google Database is like a cesspool consisting of varied information, and Eric Schmidt has justified that brands are only the means of sorting out the most pertinent information before displaying it in the SERPs. But don’t you think that the users cannot be satisfied for too long? The bounce rates will obviously come into action and Google has to reconsider its algorithm once again.
The question is - Can a Brand Image really be defined algorithmically? It is really a worthy topic to discuss. With only major international brands gaining top positions in the SERP, will there be anything left for the newer sites containing informative content to compete? It really depends on the end users. If they are satisfied with Google’s Recent Update, then it’s reasonable but if not, what next?
